WASHING POND
Reminiscent of the Victorian Stick Style, this home was sited to perch above the pond and maximize views to Nantucket Sound. The greatest challenge was to hide a 300-foot water tower from view when inside the house that stands only a few hundred feet away. It was essential to consider how light and air could move fluidly throughout the house while creating a floor plan that simultaneously focuses on the pond.
Twenty years after this house was built, a significant addition was added in the same general style
